Overview

A day rowing through Trang An’s limestone, a night on Lan Ha Bay.

Two of northern Vietnam’s natural heritage sites in three days, without doubling back to Hanoi. Day one in Ninh Binh, day two straight down the expressway to Halong to board, back in Hanoi by mid-afternoon on day three.

The cruise runs the quieter Lan Ha Bay route near Cat Ba. Every cabin has a private balcony; kayaking and park fees are included.

Day 1Hanoi – Trang An – Mua Cave

Old Quarter pick-up 7:30, two hours to Trang An. A local rows you through nine caves and hilltop temples. Goat and crispy rice lunch. Climb Mua Cave for sunset over Tam Coc’s fields; overnight in a homestay by the paddies.

Day 2Ninh Binh – Halong – Lan Ha Bay

Expressway to Tuan Chau port (about 3 hours); board at noon and lunch as you sail. Afternoon kayaking through the Light & Dark caves and a swim at Ba Trai Dao beach. Spring-roll class, dinner on board, squid fishing.

Day 3Halong Bay – Hanoi

Tai chi on deck at 6:15, then Sung Sot Cave. Brunch as the boat returns, disembark 11:00. Back in Hanoi around 15:00.

A 30% deposit secures your place. The balance is due 7 days before departure, by bank transfer or card at our offices. VAT invoices are available on request.

Under 2: free, sharing a parent’s bed. 2–11: 75% of the adult price with own seat and meals. 12 and over: adult price.

Date & name changes

Moving to another date of the same tour 15+ days ahead: free, once. Changing a traveller’s name: free up to 3 days before (except tours with flights).

Bad weather

If storms or port closures affect the trip, we substitute an equivalent itinerary or refund unused services, with no cancellation fee.
